Rupin Pass is a high altitude pass across the Himalaya mountain range in state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It lies on a traditional shepherd and hiking route which starts from Dhaula in Uttarakhand and ends in Sangla in Himachal Pradesh. The path itself is located across mostly uninhabited areas in the Himalayan ranges at an elevation of 15,250 ft (4,650M) above sea level

Rupin Pass trek consists of trails dug out of rock faces and wooden bridges, cut through deep dark folds in the mountain, glaciers and icy slopes, and over snow fields. Along the way there are white Rhododendrons and expanse of green meadows.

It is one of the best trek for photographers & adventure trekkers, treks starts from Dhaula where we can reach by transport from Dehradun. Dehradun well connected Rupin pass connects Uttarakhand to Himanchal, situated in Uttarakashi District ofUttarakhand at an elevation of 4650 high altitude pass, full of adventure & scenery.Trail pass  severell water falls, water streams, quaint villages with beautifulsurroundings with culture & tradition, Thick Green forest with various flora & fauna, Stunningview of valley ,Mountains & lush green meadows & wondering

Itinerary

Day 01           Morning drive from Dehradun to Dhaula.          Drive   210 kms.

                        Lunch on the way.

                        Arrival at Dhaula (1555 mt.)

                        Over night stay.

 

Day 02           Morning trek from Daula to Sewa (1875 mt.)      Trek      12 kms    

                       (Long climbs with short gentle walks in between)

                        Arrival at Sewa.

                        Over night stay.

 

Day 03           Trek from Sewa to Jhaka (2650 mt.)          Trek      14 kms.

                        (Long climbs with short gentle walks in between)

                        Arrival at Jakha.

                        Over night stay.

 

Day 04           Morning trek  Jhaka to Dhanderas thatch (3560 mt.) Trek  13 kms.

                        (lower water fall camp)

                        (Initial short climb followed by easy undulating walks)

                        Arrival at Dhanderas Thatch.

                        Over night stay.

 

Day 05           Morning trek Dhanderas thatch to Upper Waterfall camp (4053 mt.)

                        (Steep climb)   Trek      03 kms.           

                        Arrival at Dhanderas Thatch.

                        Over night stay.

 

Day 06           Upper Waterfall to Rupin Pass (4646 mt.) to Ronti Gad (4090 mt.)                                Trek      09 kms.  (Steep climb initially, followed by a gradual                                        ascending trail. Short sharp climb to the  pass followed by a steep                             descent)  Arrival at Ronti Gad.

                        Over night stay.

 

Day 07           Trek from Ronti Gad to Sangla (2682 mt.)     Trek      12 kms.           

                        (Via Sangla Kanda - Gradual to steep descent)

 

Day 08           Drive from Sangla to Kalka.                     Drive   315 kms.

                        Drop at Kalka.
