Short info :
Kaas is a plateau of flowers located 26 km away from Satara. Recently this site is declared as a world heritage site due to excellent biodiversity present over here. Apart from numerous varieties of wild flowers (some of which are endemic to Kaas only) this biodiversity site also shelters many insects, beautiful birds, amphibians, reptiles and some major mammalian species. Visiting this heaven on earth is always an outstanding experience.
Duration: 2 Nights / 3 Days
Tour cost: Rs. 4990/- per person in Non A/c accommodation
Itinerary:
Day-1: Pick up from Satara Rly. Station @ 3:00 pm, and proceed to hotel. Sight seeing in Satara and ice breaker games. Early dinner and lights off.
Day-2: Post early breakfast proceed to Kaas Pathaar. Explore Kaas and its surroundings. (Our qualified botanical expert will accompany the group, to guide them about the types of flowers and other interesting information)
Visit Bamnoli lake for lunch.
Post lunch proceed towards Thoseghar waterfall return to hotel. Dinner and discussion session at hotel.
Day-3: Rise early and visit Sajjangad for breakfast atop the fort explore the fort. For lunch, Visit Chalkewadi windmills and Kuraneshwar temple
Drop to Satara Rly stn. By 3:00 pm
